My life with Plants
Growing up, I was always surrounded by plants. My mom had a nice collection and I was always tinkering with spider plants and Hoya. As I grew older, I really got involved with outdoor gardening and being self reliant on “Victory Garden” inspired plots outside my home. Being an animal NUT, I have always kept aquariums and vivariums. Keeping reptiles and amphibians allowed me to perfect my ‘Green Thumb’ and cultivate beautiful living “Nature scapes”. My passion for plants extends from everything under the sun, quite literally. I love all genus and enjoy a very large personal collection of over 700 plants ranging from succulents/cacti to Ferns and House Plants.
Woodworking
Like most things in life, this kind of thing has always been on my radar but I was never able to make the leap. Things changed in 2020 and I needed an outlet, and I can say that this has been a wonderful and incredible journey. My sons have been with me every step of the way and I can’t imagine a better start into this next chapter of my life. It started with a mini lathe and has flourished into a family wood shop.
