A box that has it all, yet is a piece you'll either love it or not haha The curly Koa top was given to me by a fellow woodturner, a kind elderly uncle, that has since passed. It is, without a doubt the nicest piece of wood I've even had the pleasure of working with. The chatoyancy looks the rippling found on a calm sea. The fineal is also a really nice piece of curly Koa. The box body is made from Sheoak pods (what we call Iron wood here in the islands) and resin. I chose a color combo of sky blue, turquoise and canary yellow which really compliment the box. Shades of green appear in the piece as well. 6.5" with fineal, by 5", 4.5" with just the dimensions of the box.
